Hi guys and Tom,
How dangerous is it to disable session offload on PA-5050 model?
Its DP CPU utilisation is aware between 15-20%.
Also, is there a way to see how many sessions got offloaded?
Its total active session for the last 7 days is below:

We need session offload to be disabled to run lengthy PCAP as a part of the tshoot.
Thanks,
myky
Hi @Reaper
Thanks so much for your response.
Is there a way to see how many sessions have been offloaded or get offloaded?
We need a capture to be running for a good 5-8 hours. The session that gets reset generates a very small amount of data (maybe 10-15 MB total) but the session is usually long lived.
At 20% DP there's very low risk to disabling offloading (there's not a huge amount of traffic that's usually offloaded as most sessions are too shortlived to offload anyway Look at the number of active sessions and throughput to gauge if your system is pumping auspiciously more than what would cause 20% DP usage
