Pro-tip for anyone who comes across this: When building a logger on a hypervisor, despite what the documentation does or does not say, do not delete the original admin account when converting panorama to logger.
"Starting with PAN-OS 9.0.4, the predefined, default administrator password (admin/admin) must be changed on the first login on a device. The new password must be a minimum of eight characters and include a minimum of one lowercase and one uppercase character, as well as one number or special character."
But that does not mean delete or change the name of "admin" to your preferred in-house God account.
On the dashboard (or show system info) you should see what mode the panorama is in, there's 3 possible options: legacy, panorama, management-onlyMost likely one is panorama and the other one management-only
